Obituary of Donald Lloyd CARL

CARL, Donald Lloyd August 17, 1934 June 12, 2017 On Monday, June 12, 2017 Mr. Don Carl resident of Strathmore, formerly of Hinton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; three children, Shannon Lidgett of Calgary, Sheldon (Naomi) Carl of Strathmore and Carla (Jay) Thiessen of Red Deer; seven grandchildren, Tarralyn, Sheena, Hazen, Preston, Joel, Adrianna, Dylan; six great grandchildren, Emma, Reece, Paiton, Eddison, Kiera, Gibson; one sister, Joyce; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Don was predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Dena Carl; along with seven siblings, Mildred, Verdun, Earl, Avone, Berkeley, Gordon, Mary; as well as grandson, Jason in infancy. Don was never happier than when he was surrounded by his loving family. His final days were spent with his devoted wife and all three of his children. He was respected and liked by the numerous friends who were blessed to know him, and he will be missed by the entire community. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 1 Bayside Place in Strathmore.
