Obituary of Douglas Murray VAN CAMP
Doug passed away in Peter Lougheed Hospital, Calgary AB on May 23rd, 2017 after a long battle with Crohn’s disease. He was born on February 3rd, 1949 in Montreal, and lived most of his life in Vancouver before moving to Strathmore after retiring. Doug was pre-deceased by his parents Murray and Joan, and is survived by his brother Kelly (Darlene) of Winnipeg, stepsister Marilyn (Cecil) Harrison and family of Wandering River, AB, Aunt Helen Anderson of Bothell, WA, and many cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at Wheatland Funeral Chapel (Strathmore) at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating directly to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada (crohnsandcolitis.ca).
