Obituary of Bertha Sharon GRABO

GRABO, Bertha November 18, 1917 Fox Valley, Saskatchewan May 30, 2017 Strathmore, Alberta Bertha Grabo (nee Will) passed away peacefully in the Strathmore Hospital on May 30, 2017, less than 7 months from her 100th birthday. She married Fred Grabo on October 8, 1944 and set up their home on the farm in the level land area, where they lived together until Fred’s passing in 2008. Later that year she moved into Wheatland Lodge in Strathmore, where she stayed until two months ago when she went to Sagewood Care Centre in Strathmore. Bertha was predeceased by her husband, Fred; two sisters, Margaret and Anne; and one brother, John. She is survived by one brother, Albert and one sister, Esther; and her three sons and their families. They are Barry (Gail), Rodney (Pat), and Cameron (Colleen); grandchildren, Shannon (Scott) McQuaig, Brad (Kelly) Grabo, Dean (Monica) Grabo, Kerry (Scott) Sackett, and Derek (Raegan) Grabo; great grandchildren, Haylee, Kyler, Breena, John, Melyssa, Mikayla, Colby, Jaxon, Kloee, and Wren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
