Obituary of John Roderick Alexander MACRAE

MacRAE, John Roderick Alexander John was born on March 24, 1949 in Edmonton, Alberta and died suddenly on May 27, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents, John MacRae and Nellie MacRae (nee MacLean). John was a hard working, gentle man who is survived by his wife, Elaine, and three children, Joshua, Romanie and Seona and six grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters Seona Jennings (Toronto, ON), Laura MacRae (London, ON) and brother, Glen MacRae (Winnipeg, MB), many nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles and numerous cousins who are spread throughout Canada and the United States. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Wheatland Funeral Chapel (202 Lakeside Boulevard, Strathmore, Alberta) at 12:00 p.m. A short reception will follow the service.
