Obituary of Barbara GOOD

GOOD, Barbara July 28, 1947 – December 17, 2016 Barbara Good beloved wife of Warren Good lost her battle with cancer on December 17, 2016 at the age of 69 years. Barbara was born in Motherwell, Scotland on July 28, 1947, and migrated to Canada at the age of 19 with her parents David and Mary Millsop on July 1, 1967. Barb and Warren were married on April 10, 1971 where they met in Toronto and moved out to Calgary in August 1974. Barb was predeceased by her parents and sister Annie, and is survived by her husband of 45 years Warren, her four sons Garry (Jen), Merle, Sheldon (Amy), and Brendan, and her two grandchildren Maggie and Albert. Barb was well known for her sewing, knitting, and related talents (having worked as a seamstress for a number of years) as well as her exceptional baking. Warren and Barb shared a love for traveling and dancing, having taken several cruises around the world, and attending dances as far as Las Vegas. Barb will always be remembered for her sense of humor, generous nature, willingness to share, and always putting the well being of others before herself, even during her last days in the Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Lord of All Lutheran Church (112 Lakeside Blvd., Strathmore, AB) at 1:00 pm.
