Obituary of Halina Adamowicz
Surrounded by family Halina Adamowicz beloved wife of John Adamowicz of Calgary, AB passed away on Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Halina will be dearly missed by her children Christine Wright (Tod), Richard Adamowicz, Robert Adamowicz, and Vikki Hanson (Dale); grandchildren Kevin Wright (Johanna), Jennifer Gornik (Andrey), Kyle Adamowicz (Nicole), Kayla Adamowicz (Bryan), Jessica Adamowicz (Oat), Jill Graham (Josh), and Eric Hanson; and great grandchildren Kennedy Gornik and Natalie Wright.
She was born on August 12, 1925 in the country area near Orsha, Belarus to parents Victoria and Boleslaw Baranowski. Halina is predeceased by her beloved husband John and brother Jerry Baranowski.
Mom was a kind and caring mother who spent her life raising her family and assisting Dad in the family business in Taber, then Lethbridge and Calgary.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10th, 2020 at Lord of All Lutheran Church (112 Lakeside Blvd Strathmore, AB) at 1:00 p.m. Internment to follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Strathmore, AB.
