Obituary of Denzil George Maunsell-Wybrants

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Denzil (Dan) George Maunsell-Wybrants on the evening of February 21, 2020 at the age of 71. Dan passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, Alberta.

Dan was born May 15, 1948 in Fort MacLeod, Alberta to George and Evelyn Maunsell-Wybrants. He grew up following in his father’s footsteps and began cattle ranching in Wheatland County where he lived his entire life. Dan is survived by his son Jason (Amanda) Maunsell-Wybrants, and their children Jake, Addelynn, and Shawn; and his daughter Karalee Maunsell. Dan enjoyed being on the farm and helping his two children pursue their careers in the trucking industry always willing to lend a hand when it was needed. He could be found at the Husky truck stop enjoying his coffee while surrounded by friends. Dan enjoyed life to the fullest and has been taken from our lives too soon. 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Strathmore Alliance Church at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to send a special thank you to the CICU at the Foothills Medical Center for their incredible help and support through a difficult and emotional time.
