Obituary of Marjorie Rose NELSON

NELSON, Marjorie March 4, 1964 – September 26, 2016 Marjorie passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 52. Marjorie was born in Didsbury Hospital the daughter of Roy and Sharon Foat (Reimer). She is survived by her loving friend, companion, and husband Daryl. She will also be missed by her family, Darrel Foat( Val), Bernice Unra (Peter), Kenneth Foat (Jennifer), Christine Fillion (Larry), and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Sharon. Marjorie grew up on a farm near Cremona but spent a great deal of her young life in and out of hospital. She attended school in Cremona but received much of her education in the Children’s Hospital in Calgary. She met Daryl, her long time sweetheart, in 1985 and they were married in April, 1988. She will be truly missed by all for her loving smile and her compassionate attitude. In lieu of flowers donations can be made directly to the Children’s Make a Wish Foundation (#106, 1223-12 Ave SW, Calgary, T2R 0G9). Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Lord of All Lutheran Church (112 – Lakeside Blvd. Strathmore, AB) at 2:00 P.M.
