Obituary of Donna Sandra Bruneau

Donna Bruneau - age 77 of Delburne, Alberta, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020. Born January 19, 1943 in Ostrea Lake, NS, she was the daughter of the late Verdun and Verda Baker. Donna was an entrepreneur and a woman of many talents. Along with her husband, Georges Bruneau, she operated a number of businesses, with the most recent being The Pink House Gift House in Leduc, Alberta. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting, family, and loved animals of all kinds. Aside from her husband, Georges Bruneau, she is survived by her four children, Charlene (Allan) Campbell, Namaka, AB; Juanita Bruneau (Rob Theriault), Sluice Point, NS; Marcel Bruneau, Red Deer, AB; and Chantal LeBlanc (Patrick Eriksson), Millett, AB; as well as by her grandchildren, Leland Bruneau, Amber Campbell, Devon LeBlanc, Josh Campbell, Cody Neary, Angeline LeBlanc, and Winter Eriksson, along with one great-grandchild, Ainsley Bruneau. Also surviving is a sister, Dale Baker, and brother, Daniel Baker, both residing in Nova Scotia. Aside from her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Baker. A small, family funeral for Donna will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at the Wheatland Funeral Home in Strathmore, with interment to follow. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
