Obituary of Kenneth Elmer Jones

JONES, Kenneth Elmer March 5, 1938 – September 25, 2018 Ken passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. He is survived by his children Lyle (Coraleen) Jones, Chris (Colin) Hawes, and Carla (Doug) Nott; his grandchildren Jolene (Drew), Cody (Mya), Riley, Jacey, Royce, Bailey, Ty and Trey; his great grandchildren Etta, Javen, James and Rigg; his sisters Doreen Heck and Liz (Bob) Goldsmith; his sister-in-law Millie Jones; and his brother-in-law Earl Taylor. Ken was predeceased by his wife, Edna; his daughter Laurie; his son Jimmy; his parents; and ten siblings. Ken was raised in Drumheller and Forest Lawn. His family moved to Strathmore in the mid 1950’s. In 1958, Ken married Edna Torgrimson and they raised their family in the Strathmore area where Ken worked driving truck, farming and construction. He will be dearly missed by many friends and a huge extended family.
