Obituary of Christopher Clifton Coventry Mockford

April 28, 1974 – October 27, 2018 Christopher passed away suddenly on October 27, 2018 from a heart attack. He is survived by his wife and best friend Wendy; daughter Isabella; mother Cathy Stewart; father Dennis Mockford (Edie); siblings Heather Tyre (Jock), Tammara Whelon (Dave), and Trevor Whelon; stepmother Gail; his Grandmother Bea Mockford; his two dogs Cocoa and Bear and his cats; his loving in-laws; and very large extended family. Christopher was a hard worker who took pride in caring for his family and loved them endlessly. When he was younger he played lacrosse and hockey and loved Metallica and playing pool with his friends. As a man he was low key and kind, he spoke little but was heard for his passion for all things right. He loved outdoors, archery, his classic truck, and especially his time at home with his cup of tea, his girls, his dogs and watching his Canucks, win or lose. Many thanks to Pastor Dawn, the Doctors and Staff at Strathmore Hospital, Wheatland EMS, Strathmore Fire Department, S.T.A.R.S. and foothills Hospital who all tried desperately to save our wonderful Christopher.
