Obituary of Anna Marie DOPKING

DOPKING, Anna Marie “Annie” Annie passed away at Strathmore Hospital on March 22, 2016 surrounded by her five daughters. “Mom, you were there when we took our first breath, we were there when you took your last.” Annie is survived by her daughters: Marlene Jensen, Evelyn Jensen (Willard), Gerri Christman (Larry), Cathy Petersen (Wade), and MaryAnn Colpoys (Henry); 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; and her sister-in-law Esther Koester. Annie was predeceased by her husband Rollie in 1999, infant daughter Lorraine in 1954, son-in-law Dale Jensen in 1977 as well as eight siblings. Prayer services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Rockyford at 7:30 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28, 2016 also at St. Rita’s at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made directly to the Strathmore Handi Bus (680 Westchester Rd, Strathmore, AB T1P 1J1).
