Obituary of Peter EDIGER

EDIGER, Peter With sadness, the family of Peter “Pete” Ediger announce his passing in Calgary on March 9, 2016. Peter passed away peacefully at the age of 88, surrounded by family. Born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Peter later married the love of his life, Loreen (Stinn) on November 13, 1961. Peter’s primary occupation was as a constable with the RCMP until his retirement. His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren. Whether it was time watching Ringette games at the rink or visiting at home, Pete enjoyed every minute and was always telling stories about what his grandchildren were up to. He carried around pictures in his wallet of his precious grandchildren and a well-loved picture of Loreen from when they first became sweethearts. Pete is survived by his loving and dedicated wife, Loreen; his children Tracy Clyne (Wayne) and David Ediger (Charlene); and his grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle and Jessica Clyne and Breanna and Wyatt Ediger. A special thank-you to Doctor Sader and the wonderful staff at Strathmore Hospital, and to the Beverly Centre Glenmore in Calgary for their comfort, care and compassion during Pete’s last days.
