Obituary of Brent Blair Brown

It is with our deepest sadness, that we announce the passing of Brent Blair Brown after a short stay at Dulcina hospice in Calgary, Alberta, on December 5 2020 at the age of 56.

Brent our beloved father, uncle, and friend was predeceased by his daughter Heather Kerr, his niece Candice Hawkings (Tudor), his mother Judith Greco (Reimer), his father Daryl Brown and baby nephews Troy and John.

Brent will be dearly missed by:

Daughter: Jasmine Brown and his grandchildren Cadence and Carter.

Sister: Cindy Salmon (Brown), his nieces and nephew Brittany, Shaynne, and Nicholas and his great niece and nephew, Phoenix and Kayli.

Sister: Colleen Slater, his nieces and nephew, Kyla, Hayley, Leslie and Jace and his great nieces and nephew, Paisley, Jeziah, Sophia, and one on the way.

Sister: Tammy Brown, his niece and nephews Brett, Alecia and Desmond and his great nieces and nephews, Moriah, Millie, Mack, River, Camden and Honey.

Brother: Darvin Brown.

Sister: Darlene Brown, his niece and nephews, Jessica, Keith and Daryl and his great niece Zenadaya.

Brent will also be missed by his many friends.

We are sending a special thank you to one of Brent’s friends Ido for being so supportive kind and generous to Brent for the past few years. We would also like to say a special thank you to the love of Brent’s life (you know who you are) for all of your help and support, but especially for loving Brent.

Brent was born in Victoria B.C. on January 11 1964. His family then moved to Calgary where he spent most of his school years. Later he spent many years in Winnipeg MB. Then later back to the Calgary area. Brent had so many talents to offer this world, including being a talented artist and tattoo artist, as a musician Brent could play many instruments including, guitar, drums, keyboard and harmonica. Brent was also a gifted writer; he was also a talented carpenter and mechanic and could build a go-cart that worked when he was 12 years old. Everything Brent made was done with precision, care and pride, therefore his projects were beautiful. Brent has won awards for his art on several occasions. Brent was a man who owned little but was the first person to help someone in need or give them his last dollar.

Brent’s family will be holding a celebration of his life after we get through Covid 19.
