Obituary of Sheila Grindal

On December 26, 2020, Mrs. Sheila Grindal of Strathmore passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family at the age of 82 years.

Born in Derby, England, she trained as a nurse in Edinburgh and practiced in Scotland, Canada and Australia.

Sheila married the love of her life Robert in 1965. After living in Scotland and Australia, the family settled in the Strathmore area in 1972.

Sheila was predeceased by her dear husband Robert in 1998, and is survived by her loving family, three sons Roger, Scott (Carol), Ross and one daughter Dale (Paul).  And her beloved grandchildren Jennifer, Sean, Keelan, Jarrett and Chloe.

Mum had a passion for cooking, sewing, and handicrafts which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. She volunteered extensively in the community throughout her life.

Mum was and always will be deeply loved and greatly missed.

A private family memorial will be held.
