Jordan Chalmers

Obituary of Jordan Robert Chalmers

“Jordie” was born in Calgary on September 1, 1973 and passed away in Strathmore on January 6, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer. Jordie will be forever missed by his mom Kathleen and stepfather Bill Davidson, sister Kelly (Myron) Flexhaug, brother Ian (Melissa) Chalmers, brother by choice Jamie Tremaine and extended family. Jordie was pre-deceased by his dad Dennis Chalmers, grandparents Bob & Julia, and Harry & Gertie Pole and his loyal furry friend Zeppelin.

Jordie loved rural life, camping, wood-runs, 4 X 4ing in his Power Wagon, fishing and music.  Jordie had a diligent work ethic, he was constantly upgrading and took pride in his career in Power Engineering. He loved to build, fix, repair and was often working on projects to help others. He was truly dedicated to his family and valued his close circle of friends. Jord was famous for his quirky sense of humour.

But his favourite role of all was that of uncle to his kindred-spirit niece Rowan F and his 3 Musketeer nephews Brodie F, Keenan and Kiedis C.

Our heart-felt gratitude to Dr. Card; the MAID program, Dr. Wu & Nurse Joy.

And your will’s sinkin’ low

Just believe, and you can’t go wrong

In the light you will find the road

You will find the road”
