Obituary of Kenneth McLean MORRISON

MORRISON, Kenneth McLean Ken entered his heavenly home on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Ken was born and raised in Kimberly, B.C, where his love for the mountains and Wasa Lake was nurtured. He began work with Calgary Power – Trans Alta at 18 years of age, and dedicated 41 years of service, both as a lineman and in managerial positions. Ken married Maxine Kurtz in 1954, and they shared 61 years together. Ken was a life member of the Lions Club, an avid curler, sports fan, and landscape painter. Ken is survived by his wife Maxine; children Randle (Ronna), Wayne, Donna (Don Drake); daughter-in-law Barb; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The family is appreciative of the extraordinary care that Ken received during his residence at Dawson Lake, Sagewood. A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Lord of All Lutheran Church, Strathmore, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to join in this time of honoring and remembering the life of Ken.
