Obituary of Gerald Abraham RISSEEUW

RISSEEUW, Gerald “Gerry” Abraham January 29, 1929 – October 4, 2015 Gerry passed away at Sagewood Agecare on Sunday October 4, 2015. He was a quiet man who loved his family, nature, dogs and the farm way of life. Gerry lived his entire life in the Strathmore/Gleichen area and was proud to be called a Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary; his children Bonnie (Gary) Wolf, Terry Risseeuw, Lorne (Linda) Risseeuw and Colleen (Greg) Romaniuk; grandchildren Tara (Derek) McTavish, Devon (Quinn) Wolf, Justin Wolf, Annaleise (Brandon) Wolf, Graham (Tanisha) Wolf, Leah (Brian) Romaniuk, Adam Romaniuk, Layne Risseeuw, and Shayla Risseeuw; great grandchildren Skylar, Taylor & Zachary Wolf, Dominic Wolf, and Jaxson McTavish; sister-in-law Eileen Risseeuw. He was predeceased by brothers John and Eric Risseeuw and sister Rachel Flowers. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Lord of All Lutheran Church, Strathmore at 11:00 a.m. Interment Strathmore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Strathmore Hospital Foundation (200 Brent Blvd. Strathmore, AB, T1P 1J9) or St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church (237–1 Ave. Strathmore, AB.
