Obituary of Susan Joan STILL

STILL, Susan Joan March 6, 1933 – February 15, 2015 Susan passed away peacefully the evening of February 15, 2015 in Strathmore Hospital at the age of 82 years. Susan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Wendy Sue Still and son Thomas Henry Still as well as granddaughter Lindsey Bakker (nee Still), grandson Jeremy Still, granddaughter Michelle Blanchard and great granddaughter Emalee, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years Edward Bruce Still as well as sons David Andrew Still and James Edward Still. Susan Began her life in Ontario to parents Harry and Bea Swabey and with only sister Yvonne Lambert (nee Swabey) – all predeceased. She married in August of 1952 and raised 4 children while pursuing a career as a Nursery School Teacher. The family moved to Penticton in 1974 and retired in Strathmore, Alberta in 1986. Susan was an active member of Girl Guides of Canada from 1974 – 2015 and was also active in her Anglican Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Wheatland Funeral Chapel, Strathmore at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Bryan Beveridge officiating.
