Obituary of Ernest William Reishus
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ernest William Reishus on August 17, 2021. Left to mourn his loss is his wife of 20 years, Donna; sons Grant (Debbie) McKinney and Chuck (Terri) McKinney; daughter Becky (Kevin) Carrington; seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Shane), Kurtis (Erinn), Shelby, Tori, Cameron, Taylor, and Brennan; great-grandchild Callum; very special friend Kim Hart and family; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ernest worked for Bell Pole at Carseland from 1963 to 1993 when he retired. He lived in Carseland and was getting free firewood from Bell Pole for life.
Ernest was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Alfred; brothers Irvine and Donald; and sisters Evelyn, Thelma, Irene, Marion, Shirley, and Fern.
Cremation has already taken place and a graveside service will take place at Lornedale Cemetery in Viking, Alberta on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with a lunch to follow at the Viking Legion Hall.
A come and go Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Carseland Community Hall at 11:00 a.m.
