Obituary of Benjamin Charles Kandt
August 4, 1928 – September 9, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Benjamin announce his passing at the age of 93.
Ben is survived by his children, Michael Kandt, Marlys Lein (Lavern), granddaughters Tara Lockwood (Chris), Beth Dundas (Brad), great grandchildren Cohen Lockwood, Quinn Lockwood, Oaklie Dundas, Crue Dundas and many nieces and nephews.
Ben was born on the family farm, at Fox Valley, SK, youngest of 9 siblings, Dad worked in the logging industry till his retirement finally at the age of 75, relocating to Kelowna.
Then in 2019 moved to Strathmore, to be closer to his family, especially his great grandchildren which were a great sense of pride and joy.
The family wishes to thank, the staff of the Rockyford Neighborhood at Sagewood, providing exceptional care to dad in his final month.
A family celebration will be held at a later date.
