Obituary of Florence Irene COTE

COTE, Florence Irene November 18, 1928 – January 20, 2015 Irene was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan to Lloyd and Alice Struble. She was strong willed, determined, never gave up, and up to the end always had a smile and a story to tell. She enjoyed gambling, auction sales, antiques and gardening. On March 10, 1948, Irene married Richard (Dick) Risdon. Dick and Irene had four children: Milton (Val), Marlene, Cliff (Joan), and Wendy (Dean); She has four grandsons: Dustin, Casey, Cody, and Josh. She is also survived by her sister Doreen MacRae, numerous relatives and her very dear friends, Barb McClean and Lorraine Aarsby. Her first husband Dick Risdon died in 1969. She remarried in 1973 to B.D. (Dude ) Cote who passed away in 2000. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Care Centres in Didsbury for their exceptional care over the years.
