Obituary of Diane Elizabeth Corbin

Diane Elizabeth Corbin (Martin) was born July 1, 1949 and raised in Ponteix, Sk. She passed away on October 4, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Diane was survived by her husband Dennis of 49 years, they moved to Strathmore in 1982 to raise their 3 children. Diane loved taking their kids to all their sporting events and was known for her strong opinions and having no filter. She was a collector of many items and loved shopping, coupons, and finding all the great sales in the weekly flyers. Diane loved life on the farm and took great pride in their lawn ornaments. She loved Christmas, with all the Christmas lights and ornaments we are sure if NASA zoomed in they could see it lit up for the season. Diane will be remembered by her husband Dennis (cat Willie Nelson); son Ernest (Jennifer); grandkids Connor and Hunter; daughter Pam; grandpets George, Hazel, Francis, and Steve; son Darren (Kori-Lynn); grandkids Colby, Jaicey, Brooke-Lynn (Cody), and Jessica; and great-grandson Bennett. Diane was the second oldest of 6 siblings, predeceased by her parents Fern and Terri Martin and youngest brother Raymond. At Diane’s request there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank Dr. Fanning and all the nurses and staff at the Strathmore Hospital in palliative care. The family would like to give special thanks to Dennis's sisters Bev and Sharon for all their love and support during this difficult time.
