Obituary of Rhona Elizabeth Seitz

With heart felt sadness we announce that Rhona Elizabeth Seitz of Strathmore, Alberta peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by her sons Garth (Kelly) and Shane (Heather); grandchildren JennaLee, TaraLynn (Ben), Sara (Dane); and sisters-in-laws Florence, Adaline, Mary and Shirley.
Rhona was predeceased by her husband Ralph, father Mitchell, mother Ida, and brothers Jack and Gordon (Marvin).
Rhona was raised in Calgary. She had fond memories of working summers at the Kicking Horse Tea House while she was in her late teens. She often spoke of the trains and wildlife located at the Spiral Tunnels close to Field, British Columbia. She graduated from Mount Royal College in 1954. After graduation she enjoyed working at a auto dealership in Calgary. Rhona married Ralph Seitz in May 1957, and raised their family in the Strathmore area. She worked alongside Ralph on the farm and their trucking business. Rhona and Ralph loved to travel anywhere their motor home could take them. They ventured from Alaska to Mexico and from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland.
