Obituary of Milton Bruce Wolfater

Milton Bruce Wolfater, known to everyone as Butch, born on March 27th 1952 in Brooks Alberta, passed away at the age of 69 on November 17th 2021 in Calgary Alberta.

Butch was born to Delmer Clement Wolfater and Lila Mae Wolfater (Countryman) and was one of three children. In 1969 Butch joined the Canadian Armed Forces and was stationed across Canada as well as different parts of the world. Butch proudly served the military until 1995 when he retired. In 1992 Butch moved to Strathmore Alberta with his wife and two daughters and proudly made it his home town.

Butch had many relatives surrounding Maple Creek Saskatchewan and Piapot Saskatchewan on both the Wolfater and Countryman sides. Butch is survived by his wife of 49 years Claire Wolfater; his two daughters Nicole (Derek) and their three children, and Celina (William) and their three children (Damion, Illora, and Hailey). Butch was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather (Opa).

As per Butch's last request, there will be no funeral or service, and he will be buried alongside his baby sister in Piapot, Saskatchewan.
