Obituary of Corey Lee Baird
On Monday November 22, 2021, Corey Lee Baird of Calgary (Strathmore) passed away suddenly at the age of 44.
He was predeceased by his mother Lesley Marie Baird.
Corey will be missed by his family - father, Wayne of Sundre; siblings Winston and Angie; half-sister Debbie of Hudson’s Hope, BC; son Acer of Calgary; as well as his vast family and group of friends in both Calgary and Strathmore.
Corey was friendly and well-liked by many in Strathmore growing up and had a great circle of friends. He enjoyed playing hockey, skateboarding and many other activities. He was fun loving, talented and competitive. Corey struggled with addiction and moved to Calgary at a young age, where he spent the remainder of his life.
There will be no service at this time as the family will honour his memory at a later date in a private ceremony.
