Obituary of Colin Roy Venn

The world is less bright at the passing of Colin Venn who is My Father, My Friend and Confidant and much more to many others.  He left this earth on December 12, 2021.

Colin was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England on August 30, 1943.  He emigrated to Canada in 1967.

He was a Master Butcher by trade, beginning his pursuits in the family business in England to then go on to create a new family business with his daughter: becoming the family of Mustateer’s.

Colin was a devoted father and grandfather which was reflected in Colina, Cameron and Cian.

Colin is survived by his daughter Colina, son in law Cameron and treasured grandson Cian.  He is also survived by: his sisters Jane Murrant and Elizabeth Beecher and brother in law Chris Beecher; nephews and nieces Jeremy (Kay) Murrant, Vanessa (Alan) Juckes, Paul Beecher, Katie (Barney) Beecher, and Alex Beecher; grand nephews and nieces Daniel, William, Jack, Emily, Thomas, Winifred and Percival along with many other family members.  

Colin was predeceased by his father Aubrey Venn, mother Rosalie Stewart, step father Ian Stewart and brother in law Tom Murrant.

No words could ever capture the impact that Colin had on so many lives, he will be missed.
