Obituary of Calvin Dean Kitsch
December 18, 1937 - December 17, 2021
The family of Calvin Kitsch originally from Yorkton, Sask area is saddened to announce his passing Dec 17th, 2021 in Strathmore, AB at the age of 83 years.
Calvin was born on the farm near Togo, Sask. He farmed for many years. He moved to Yorkton and had his own farm supply business. He worked as a farm help for many years as well. In 2012 he moved to Alberta to be closer to his children.
Calvin is survived by his children, Donna of Irricana, AB and Randy(Rowenna) of Langdon, AB. His fur-grandkids Gunnar & Haven. Sister in Law, Doreen Kryski of Yorkton, SK, Sister in Law Marlene Anstey(Don Burback) of Yorkton SK, Brother in Law Tony Ostafie of Yorkton, SK and Sister in Law Janet Ostafie of Yorkton, SK. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calvin was predeceased by his wife Mae. Parents Adam & Elizabeth Kitsch. In Laws Walter & Nellie Ostafie. Sisters & Brother in Laws Erna(Dan) Giest, Norma(Roy) Dunkley, Bertha(William) Haberman, Alice(Fred) Cheetham. Brothers & Sister in laws Orland(Alice) Kitsch and Mervin Kitsch. Brother in Law Paul(Frances) Ripa, Ron Anstey and Paul Kryski. Nieces Donna Giest and Amy Ostafie.
In keeping with Calvins wishes, there will be a small service held in spring 2022 in Saskatchewan.
For those who wish to donate in memory of Calvin may do so to the Canadian Liver Foundation as a token of remembrance.
