Obituary of Archie Roy Rieger

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved dad, Archie Rieger, who passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 76, after a brave battle with multiple illnesses. Archie has been reunited with his beloved wife, Arlene Rieger who passed away in 2011.

He leaves behind his daughters, Collette (Zach), Bailee (Mike) and Marly; three precious grandchildren, Gracelyan, Addalyan, and Hayzen; three siblings, Dot (Brian), Glen (Jan), Merv (Connie); numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend Robert Damen. 

Dad enjoyed spending his mornings around the table at A&W with his friends. If you couldn’t find him at A&W you could find him at a junior hockey game (not NHL) or the local baseball fields. 

You could always tell when his granddaughter, Addy, visited him because his smile would light up the room. Archie and Addy had an incredible relationship and was beautiful to witness.

We will have a celebration of life planned for the spring of 2022.
