Our deepest sympathies to you Nancy, Jill, Beth, Becky and families. We will always remember your mom as a cheerful, positive person who loved life. Often she could hardly finish a story she was telling because she was laughing so hard. She was so kind hearted. I remember a time when your mom and dad brought an apple pie to our parents. They shared the pie and many happy stories. Your mom told them that she had twenty apple pies in the freezer and many more people to visit. She has left a wonderful legacy as a historian for the Crowfoot community and your family. Your mom had many adventures, many stories and many laughs-a true gift to the world!

Hi Girls, Spouses and Grandchildren. You were all so fortunate to have such a loving and fun mother and grandma. Raymond and I have so many fond and wonderful memories of our time together in UFA. We made some very dear friends during those years. Back in the day when sending Christmas cards was "trendy" I always liked how Ann would sign their Christmas card to us.

Dear Nancy, Jill, Beth and Becky and families, We offer our sincere sympathy in the passing of your dear Mother. We remember her as a cherished friend and she will be sadly missed by so many. It was such a blessing to be close friends and neighbours in the Crowfoot Community and to farm and raise our children there. Those were busy years but Ann and John, along with their many friends, would take time to celebrate and enjoy many good times. They would take leading roles in planning Wedding Anniversaries, Community Re-Unions, Club activities and of course the Christmas Concerts. We would encourage our children to sing, dance or play an instrument and Ann would arrange hilarious skits and plays for both children and adults. The schoolhouse would ring with laughter. These are a few memories of our friendship and we consider it a true blessing from God that we had these years together. May she find Heavenly Joy and Peace and celebrate the re-union with her beloved John..

We send our sincere condolences to all of the Scheer daughters on the passing of their wonderful Mom, Ann. I remember Ann doing her practicum for teaching as “Miss Atkinson” when I was in Grade Three at Samuel Crowther School. We thought she was so tall and so kind. Gordon and I were very lucky to move in next door to Ann and John when we moved to Strathmore. Gordon and John used to sit on their respective balconies early in the morning to have their morning coffee and John would hide behind the tree that shaded the balcony and make duck sounds so Gordon would look up to see them flying overhead. They had a lot of good laughs. Gordon also went over and played crokino with Ann. She thought she could beat him easily but little did she know Gordon was a champion crokino player from way back. We will never forget the wonderful times we had with Ann and John. They were a lovely and loving couple and will be missed by the community as a whole.

So sorry to hear about Ann's passing, She was always such a ray of sunshine. She took people for who they were, never judging.
She always had time for Crowfoot and their people. She came to visit my new kitchen once insisting the tour included looking in my oven to make sure it was used. She assured me the sign of a clean oven was a poor cook. Hugs to all the family. This is a great loss for Crowfoot.

Becky and family, I was so saddened to hear of your moms passing. I have so many memories of your mom over the years when we were in school. She was such a devoted cheerer for what ever we were doing volleyball, basketball, track, graduations…. Anything really she was there cheering us all on. Her smile was contagious and her energy seemed to be everlasting. Your mom welcomed me with open arms on the farm and made me feel like family. It was truly a blessing to be in her presence and to be close to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, memory Eternal.
