Obituary of Vera Margaret MOORE

MOORE, Vera Margaret It is with sadness we announce the passing of Vera Moore on December 24, 2014. Born July 14, 1958 at Calgary, Vera was raised in the foothill of the Rockies at Cochrane, Alberta. She is survived by her loving husband Gary, sons Andrew of Strathmore and Kyle of Dauphin, Manitoba; her parents Wilfred & Marie Britton; her sister Barb (Grant) Jorgenson of Sicamous, BC, brothers Ian of Airdrie and Dale (Linda) of Rocky Mountain House. She was predeceased by her son Jason Allan Moore on November 14, 2008. A viewing and visitation will take place on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Wheatland Funeral Home, Strathmore between 7 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Strathmore United Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vera’s memory directly to the ALS Society (#250, 4723 1 Street Southwest Calgary, AB T2G 4Y8).
