Obituary of Ian Wilmot Sadler

Ian Sadler was born November 8, 1945, the second son of Serres and Helen Sadler of Strathmore, Alberta. Predeceased by both his parents, he was to spend his whole life on the family farm near Cheadle. A deeply read man, his life was filled with many interests which he pursued avidly. He passed away suddenly on May 20, 2022. As well as many friends, he leaves to mourn his two brothers, Niall and Tom Sadler, both of the Strathmore area, and his nephews and niece. He was particularly close to a number of his cousins. For us all, the farm was the centre of many family activities. Ian, for many years, was a Ducks Unlimited Canada volunteer keeman and an avid supporter of waterfowl conservation.

Those of us who carry him in our hearts will need no reminders.
