Obituary of Robert John Edward Ethier
Robert John Edward Ethier, 83, sadly passed away on July 10, 2022 at the Rockyview General Hospital.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he was the son of Ida and John Ethier.
Robert was employed as a supervisor at Old Dutch Foods for 45 years during which time he and his family moved to Strathmore, Alberta.
Robert enjoyed camping in his Motor Home, watching wildlife, golfing and spending quality time with his family and friends.
He will be remembered for his sarcastic sense of humor, his love of the great outdoors, and how much he cared for his family.
Robert is survived by his loving partner for three beautiful years, Hilda Reimer; his two daughters, Karla Ethier (Keith Heide) and Kristina LaRocke (Dan LaRocke); his three grandchildren, Stephanie Ethier (Katlin), Ethan LaRocke and Damian LaRocke. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Leona May Ethier; brother, Jack Either; sister-in-law, Marlene Ethier; mother, Ida Ethier; father, John Ethier; and grandson, Cody Ethier.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 @ 1:00pm at the Strathmore Legion.
