Obituary of Rosemarie Elizabeth Wink
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Rosemarie Elizabeth Wink, resident of Lyalta, AB, formerly of Grande Prairie and Sexsmith, AB. Rosemarie passed away peacefully with her husband, Hank and sister, Kathy by her side on August 9, in Calgary, AB at the age of 73 years.
Rosemarie was born on December 29, 1948 in Grande Prairie, AB; the oldest of four daughters to Peter and Jenny Florchuk.
Rosemarie was a quiet and gentle person. She enjoyed gardening and was gifted with a very green thumb. She loved to watch TV and immensely enjoyed a good bologna sandwich.
Rosemarie will be sadly missed by her husband, Hank; step-children: Kim, Kelly and Jerry, and their families; sisters Kathy (Andy) Kociuba, Elizabeth (Bob) Amantea, Jeannette (Clint) Ward, and their families; along with all other family and friends who knew and loved her.
A private family gathering will take place on Friday, August 12, 2022 with interment at Strathmore Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Lung Association (www.lung.ca).
