Obituary of Marie Josephine Jeanne d'Arc McTague VECCHIO

VECCHIO, Jeanne March 7, 1928 – December 5, 2014 Jeanne Vecchio passed away peacefully in the Bassano Hospital on December 5, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Jeanne was born in St. Fabien-de-Panet, Quebec to Alfred Brunelle and Jeanette Ritcher on March 7, 1928. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Vecchio, as well as all of her brothers and sisters. Jeanne lived in Strathmore and worked for many years at the Wheatland County Inn before retiring. She lived at Sunset Haven in Strathmore before moving to Playfair Lodge in Bassano where she resided until her passing. She loved the Lodge in Bassano, the care she received and the friends she made. At Jeanne’s request, there will be no funeral service. Jeanne will return to Ontario to be buried in the family plot.
