Obituary of Sharon Ruth ZIMMERMAN

ZIMMERMAN, Sharon Ruth April 9, 1946 – Nov 23, 2014 Sharon passed away peacefully in the Peter Lougheed Hospital on November 23, 2014. Sharon was born in Outlook, SK and grew up in Oliver, BC. In 1977 she moved to Carseland and has been the owner/operator of The Blue Saloon up until her passing. Since her arrival, Sharon has been an integral member of the community. She was a driving force behind youth sports, a valued volunteer assistant at the school and a silent benefactor to many. Sharon has worked quietly behind the scenes to assist those in need with kindness and compassion. She could always be counted on to go above and beyond the call of duty to make everyone in the community feel welcome and appreciated. Her generous spirit and kind heart will be greatly missed by everyone in the community and beyond. Sharon is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey and Jordan and 6 grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 7 at 10 am at the Carseland Community Center. Please come with a smile, a laugh and a good story.
