Obituary of Dorothy May KAVOLINAS

KAVOLINAS, Dorothy May March 27, 1930 – November 9, 2014 Dorothy passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at the age of 84 years. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughters, Kathy Kavolinas and Susan (Darryl) Noy, grandson Toby Noy, granddaughter Samantha Noy, and sister Mary Morrison (of Ithaca, New York). Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Joe Kavolinas, sister Peggy Shantz, brother Jack Morrison, and parents Robert and Mary Morrison. She grew up in Canoe, BC, worked for Okanogan Telephone in Salmon Arm, before moving to Vernon with her family where she continued to work for Okanagan Telephone/ BC Telephone until her retirement. After retirement Dorothy took great pleasure in spoiling her grandchildren. She was known for her love of family, friends, gardening, baking and huckleberry picking.
