SAUMUR, Diane Jeannine (nee Berlinguette)
1953-2022
Diane Saumur passed away at the Strathmore Hospital on December 20, 2022 at the age of 69 years.
Diane lived most of her life in Ottawa, ON and moved to Strathmore, AB in 2016 to be closer to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Diane loved to spend winters in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband of 53 years Robert Saumur. She enjoyed the beaches, flea markets and sharing laughs with new and old friends while staying warm. She cherished her time in the company of her family and fur babies.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Robert J. Saumur, daughter Maggie Ravesloot (Martin), son Robert W. Saumur (Erika), 6 grandchildren James (Cassandra), Jesse (Julia), Devin, Kyle (Krysta), Owen (Hannah), Lyndsey, great grandchildren Tyson, Skyler, Kaylee and Dakoda. Diane came from a large family of 7 siblings, Jeannine Shannon, Helene Lelievre (deceased), Claudette Burdeney, Mike Berlinguette(deceased), Jacky Lebreton, Anita May and Jackie Lapointe. Her family would like to thank all the staff at the Strathmore hospital for the care and compassion that she received.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
