Obituary of Andrea Kirsten Dale
It is with great sadness that the family of Andrea Kirsten Dale announces her passing after a very courageous battle with cancer on February 24, 2023, at the age of 60.
Andrea was born in North Vancouver BC on October 24th 1962. She moved to England in 1985 where she had many adventures and in 1988, she met the love of her life. Jim and Andrea were married on September 15th, 1990, in England and moved to Canada in 1991.
Listening and empathy were some of Andrea’s greatest strengths. With these skills, she touched the lives of everyone she met. Since her diagnosis, each treatment, hospital visit and doctor’s appointment, Andrea remained positive. This perspective provided her an opportunity to take in her experiences with humor and as a result she always had funny stories to share. Storytelling was her finely honed craft, making everyone want to hear another. She loved sewing, camping, music, riding bikes, old cars, reading, cruising, traveling, and her friends. Andrea was most proud of her boys and her marriage to Jim.
Andrea is predeceased by her mother Mary, father Raymond, sisters Lesley and Lindsay and nephew Davis. She leaves behind her soul mate Jim and her boys Aaron and Bowen.
A celebration of Andrea’s life will be held at a later date.
