Obituary of Royston Townsend
It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Royston (Roy) John Townsend of Strathmore, Alberta announces his sudden passing on Monday, April 3rd, 2023, at the age of 85. Roy is survived by his sons Brett, David, and Simon, niece Debi, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosemary, in 2019, and by his parents and brothers in England.
A keen and active sportsman, Roy enjoyed playing and watching soccer, playing pool, shooting, and riding his motorcycle throughout North America. His gentle presence and London accent will be missed by many, including his lifelong friends.
