Obituary of Craig Jason Sinclair

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Craig Jason Sinclair on August 14, 2023.

Craig was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 28, 1972, to George and Valerie Sinclair. Craig graduated from Dr E.P. Scarlett High School in 1990 and went on to complete his education in Chemical Engineering Technology at SAIT. He spent his career in the oil and gas industry.

In 1997, Craig met the love of his life Lisa. The two were married in May of 2000 and out of their love they welcomed their three sons, Carter, Owen, and Ryan.

Craig’s days were filled with his family, and friends and together they enjoyed going camping, making meals, playing sports, watching movies, family game nights and attending numerous concerts.

Craig will deeply be missed and remembered by his wife of 23 years, Lisa and his three amazing sons Carter, Owen, and Ryan. He will forever be in the hearts of his parents George and Valerie, his brother Bret (Andy), his niece Alyshia (Nicco) DiGiovannantonio and his nephew Michael. Craig will also be remembered by Robert and Judy Freeman, as well as his sister in laws Jacqueline and Patricia.

The family would like to say Thank you for all the love and support that they have been given by their family and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Craig will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Strathmore Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10. Craig’s family would like to invite you to wear your favorite band or graphic tee to remember Craig.

If desired, a donation to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Craig’s honor, a facility that is near and dear to the Sinclair family.
