Isabella Loveday

Obituary of Isabella Vitoria Loveday

Isabella Vitoria Loveday, 26, of Strathmore, Alberta, passed away Tuesday September 5th, 2023, at the Agape Hospice in Calgary, Alberta, after a nine-month courageous and faith-filled battle with cancer. Isabella will be forever loved and missed by her brother, Straun Loveday and her mom, Susan Loveday, both of Strathmore.
Isabella, born April 3rd, 1997 in Markham, Ontario, was a beautiful introvert, an old soul, had a spirited yet gentle determination about her, and a beauty inside and out that shone. She released that same through photography capturing God’s intricate and beautiful creations. Her soul and talent never ceased in finding God’s beauty. Isabella graduated from Strathmore High School in 2015. With her love for English, she continued her education with Athabasca University. She had successfully completed 78 credits towards the Bachelor of Arts Program with Distinction. A Certificate of her Academic Progress, signed by the President and Registrar of AU was compassionately forwarded to her when Isabella could no longer physically continue her studies. She and her family will be forever thankful for this kind gesture. She loved being a student and studying English, which also stirred an interest in her for History, Art, and Psychology. Isabella resided in Banff periodically between 2019 and 2021, between her studies, to thoroughly enjoy working at the Banff Springs Hotel and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. This was hoped to be a stepping stone to travel within the employment of the Fairmont Hotels while continuing her studies. As well as her love for her studies, Isabella enjoyed reading, writing stories, and analytical studying of movies and tv series just for fun. Conversations with her were always interesting, thought-provoking, and left you curious for more. She loved music, her three cats, tea time, cooking, baking, and autumn walks. Its the most wonderful time of year for her!
Isabella’s friends visited and texted often while at home and loved on Isabella through long days and nights at the hospital week after week and their commitment to visiting her almost daily will always remain a beautiful blessing from all of you!
Isabella will be remembered always by her dad, Chris Loveday, and many relatives from Ontario including grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and love. A special thank you to her Aunt Cheryl for her faithful and loving support day and night for months.
A special thank you to the wonderful nurses at The Peter Lougheed Centre, Foothills Medical Centre, Foothills Special Services Building, and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.
