Obituary of Peter Cameron Cook
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Cook, age 57. Peter went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2023 after a difficult struggle with mental illness. He is survived by his loving wife Andrea and four beautiful children Isabel, Sam, Jack, and Jane.
Peter was born in Montreal and grew up in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Dr. Barry and Betty Cook. He grew up with four siblings Michael (Cindy), Gerry (Laura), Todd (Terry Lee), and Jennifer (Kevin). Peter loved his acreage outside of Strathmore. There he was able to spend time on his tractor and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful landscape. His family has many fond memories of him from vacations to his favourite spot in St. Pete Beach, Florida. He was known to make people laugh with his many stories and witty humor, a trait that his family will never forget about him. His memory will live on while they keep his favorite Bible verse close to their hearts.
Isaiah 40:31, “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
A private service was held for his immediate family.
