Obituary of George Robert Noyes

George Robert Noyes, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, at his home in Strathmore, at the age of 69.

George is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring partnership. Together, they built a life filled with joy, love, mutual respect, and unwavering support for one another.  He will be greatly missed by his daughter Christie and son in law Christopher and his grandchildren, Chase, Kinlee, and Riley

He is predeceased by his parents James and Doreen Noyes, and his brothers Don and Jim Noyes. George is survived by his sister Judy Longhurst, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

George's professional life was marked by his commitment to excellence. He served as a Distribution Centre Operations Manager at The Bolt Supply House Ltd., a role in which he demonstrated not only his expertise but also his ability to lead and inspire those around him. His colleagues remember him as a man who was always willing to go the extra mile, ensuring that every task was completed to the highest standard.

George's love for sports was only matched by his love for his family. Weekends and evenings were often spent cheering on his grandchildren at various sporting events, never missing a chance to be their biggest fan. His presence on the sidelines was a source of encouragement and pride for his family. George was very adventurous, his adventures include skiing, boating, fishing, tubing and being with his motorcycle.  George could often be found in the kitchen, he was always on the hunt for new TikTok recipes, which he was anxious to prepare and experiment with his grandchildren.

In remembering George, we reflect on a life lived with purpose and passion. His kindness radiated through his every action, and his passion for life was evident to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those fortunate enough to have known him.
