Obituary of Tracy Clyne

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Tracy Clyne on December 20, 2023. Tracy was born February 18, 1965, in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she was adopted by her parents Peter and Loreen Ediger who are both predeceased.

After living in Chilliwack and Calgary, the Ediger’s settled down in Rockyford where Tracy would eventually meet and marry her high school sweetheart Wayne Clyne on May 6, 1989. She is survived by her husband Wayne; their daughters Nicole and her husband Geoff Munro, Danielle and her husband Jason Hobson, and Jessica Clyne; her two grandkids, Lauren and Sawyer; as well as her grand dogs Snoop and Phoebe. She also leaves many other loved ones behind. 

Tracy took a big part in the community of Rockyford where she was the Rockyford School secretary/librarian for many years until it closed down, treasurer for the Rockyford Minor Hockey and Ringette Association, helped organize and volunteer at the gate committee for Rockyford Rodeo, as well as many other things. 

Tracy’s family was her whole world, as she was always putting them before herself. She took pride in her husband’s woodworking and all her daughter’s sports and hobbies. She was their number one fan. 

As our journey with Tracy has come to an end, her memory will live on through her daughters and in the hearts of those who loved her. Tracy was the most honest, caring, selfless person whose beauty shone wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by not only her family but the entire Rockyford community. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at St. Rita’s Parish in Rockyford, AB at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the Community Centre.
