Obituary of Stephen Anthony Finch

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Anthony Finch on December 23, 2023. Stephen was born on November 14, 1985 in Hamilton, Ontario to Susan Moore-Robinson and Michael Finch. Stephen is survived by his two children, Leigha and Wyatt: mother Susan, stepfather Ron, father Michael, stepmother Debbie, sisters Barbara and Stephanie, step-sisters Brittany and Kayla, girlfriend Treasa, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandparents and friends. 

For those that knew him, knew that he had a quirky sense of humor and could always make people laugh. He absolutely loved his children, his family, and friends, and would do anything for anyone out of the kindness of his own heart.

Stephen spent most of his life in Calgary, AB and had recently moved out to Wheatland County to begin building his dream of living off grid and developing a small acreage. Stephen had a great sense of adventure and would do anything at least once. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cars, and off roading. He took great pride in everything he did. He enjoyed teaching his children new skills and giving them the opportunity to try new things. He touched many peoples lives and will be missed.

Stephen’s Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2024, at Hope Community Covenant Church (245 Brent Blvd Strathmore, AB) at 1:00 pm.
