Obituary of Mildred Maria Mercer

Mercer, Mildred, aged 87 years, passed peacefully away on February 9, 2024, at the Strathmore Hospital, Alberta. Predeceased by her husbands, Robert King, and Robert Mercer. Leaving to mourn are her daughters Rosalind Tucker (Dave) and Barbara Lynch (Ken), Her grandchildren Crystal Meah (Andy Eirich), Adrian Tucker (Carlos Salguero), Robert Lynch (Tasha), April Chisholm (Clint); great grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Saxton, Serenity, Shae-Lee, Syrus, Saharrah, Zoey, Zac, Kennedy, all of whom reside in Alberta. Mildred also leaves to mourn, her sister Sarah Newman (Bob) and her brother Loyal Squires (Doris), sister-in-law Millicent Mercer and extended Mercer family, especially Lori and Ron as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and good friends, Milt and Mary Carlson.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Strathmore Hospital, Strathmore Home Care and Bayshore for the kindness and care shown to Mildred during her stay in Gleichen, Alberta, since May 8, 2023.  A cremation has taken place. There will be a service and a burial that will take place at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, with the interment at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
