Obituary of Larry Zaytsoff

Larry passed on unexpectedly on March 27,2024. He is survived by his wife Diana; daughters Tania (Adam) and Jessica; grandson Jet; brother David; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry was predeceased by infant son William Gregory, his parents William and Polly Zaytsoff and brothers William, Nick, and Fred Zaytsoff.

Larry was born in Queenstown, AB to William and Polly Zaytsoff on October 15, 1944. After High School Larry worked in Vulcan for a while and then moved to Calgary. It was there that he met his future wife Diana Hanson. They were married in Milo, AB on July 08, 1972. Our daughters Tania and Jessica completed our family in 1974 and 1977.

Larry spent most of his adult life working in the real estate industry. He worked for new home builders and helped many families in the Maplewood area of Strathmore with their purchase of a new home. At the time of his passing, he was working at RE/MAX Realty Horizon Strathmore. Larry loved sports and played basketball with the Strathmore RCMP when he moved to Strathmore with his wife Diana and daughters in 1980.

Larry was a devoted husband and father. Always ready to help us, listen to us and make us laugh.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Lord of All Lutheran Church (Strathmore) at 3:00 p.m.
