Obituary of Stuart Warren GORDING

GORDING, Stuart Warren 1940-2014 Stuart was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Shirley (nee Bennett); his brother Larry; his parents Norman and Irma; as well as many other dear relatives. He is survived by his loving family; his brother Clayton (Lorraine); nephews Trevor and Troy and their families; his brother Harvey (Sharlene); sister-in-law Carole Gording; nephew Grant and his family; wife Nancy and their boys Jeff, and Scott (Stephanie); grandchildren Duncan, Callum, Abigail, and Emily; Nancy’s sister Laureen Wood; nephew Ken Bennett (Laura) and their family; niece Debbie Bennett; brother-in-law Grant Bennett; and many other relatives too numerous to mention! Stuart passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Strathmore Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society (#200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, Alberta, T2E 2P5). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Wesley United Church (Rockglen, Saskatchewan) at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the service.
