After 35 years of living in Springbank, he moved East of Calgary to Mossleigh with his daughter and son in-law in 2004 where he continued raising the beautiful black and white Spotted Draft horses until he moved to Sagewood Senior Care in 2014. Ernie lived life his way, on his time line and never complained of hardships or pains. His last days were filled with one more parade and more stories of his adventurous amazing life.
